Watercolor Jellyfish

This is a watercolor piece I did about a year ago, and was my first attempt at a watercolor painting. I chose the jellyfish purely because I like the way they look, and thought it was a great aquatic animal to associate with watercolors. I first drew a pencil outline and then went in layer by layer and blended the values, tones and colors to create a dynamic painting that was visually appealing and realistic.
